Chris Grollnek retired from Countermeasure Consulting Group, LLC last year and just recently was told the contact information did not forward.  Please feel free to contact him through any of the above listed ways and he would be happy to respond.

Chris Grollnek recently began consulting exclusively for CGPGMG, LLC “Secure Consulting Solutions” and is a free agent.  After spending time contracting to the Government, Chris decided it was time to return to his roots after being paralyzed in his left side (above the waist thankfully).

Active Shooter Prevention Expert, Chris Grollnek has spent his life as the embodiment of protection to his country, community and his family. In his extensive experience, Chris has persistently sought to provide superior expertise and recognized leadership in an impressive array of professional, public, and personal endeavors.

Chris Grollnek enlisted in the United States Marine Corps quickly distinguishing himself by promoting to each rank (with the exception of Lance Corporal) meritoriously.  As the number one selection to Staff Sergeant at Parris Island, South Carolina, Chris began his experience as a Staff Non-commissioned Officer as a Senior Drill Instructor.  Serving as a Master Instructor, Weapons Expert, Close Combat Instructor, and both Drill and Senior Drill Instructor over eight platoons. In 1998, Chris was selected as the Assistant to the Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Detachment, Aberdeen Proving Grounds.  As a seasoned curriculum developer for eight formal schools, Chris was responsible for reformatting the training process for the entire ground ordnance school program of instruction.

Chris was honorably discharged in 2000 and joined the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion in San Antonio, Texas, serving as Reserve Battalion Operations Chief.  As a reservist, Chris began his pursuit into law enforcement and protection by working for Perot Systems as part of the Personal Protection Team. As a Personal Protection Officer, Chris worked as an armed body guard to dignitaries and visiting VIP’s to the organization. Advance assessments, driving and pre route planning while being responsible for the overall security and well being of each individual(s) assigned.

Chris moved to McKinney, Texas and expanded his professional horizons entering law enforcement and completing his goal to graduate college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Management. In addition to early patrol duties, Chris quickly advanced to positions inside the coveted  Undercover Narcotics Detective Unit.  Working as a Gang Investigator, Law Enforcement Trainer, and Advanced Tactics Trainer, Chris found himself working for the Regional Counter Drug Training Academy . Along with a unique portfolio within the illicit “narco-trafficking” abatement and enforcement effort, Chris worked with federal law enforcement agencies on national cases leading to cross border interdiction and prosecutions.

Chris served over six years on the department’s elite tactical unit, “SWAT” as a Member of the Entry Team, a senior Tactics / Firearms Instructor and Mechanical/Shotgun Breaching Instructor. Chris honorably retired from the police department, finishing his career as a Patrol Supervisor after a career ending incident. Law Enforcement personal awards include:  The Police Shield, three (3) Merit Awards, two (2) Individual and Team Unit Commendations, one (1) Civic Achievement Decoration/Award, and the Field Training Officer Recognition ribbon.

Chris has been sought out as a consultant at almost every level of government.  In 2002, he was invited to Washington D. C. to testify at the Hart Senate Office Building to representatives of the Senate Ways and Means Committee on the needs of Counter Terrorism and specific and confidential training programs. The Washington Times and other print sources utilize Chris’ expertise in articles regarding active shooter prevention and post incident break down consultations.

The most recent accomplishment of Chris Grollnek was the completion of his Master of Science degree in March 2012.  During the commencement ceremony, Chris was informed of the honor of his induction into the National Honors Society memorializing his Summa Cum Lade status within his graduation class.
