- Remain inside, find a door that can be locked from the inside and barricade yourself behind it if possible
- If you are not inside a room that is capable of locking, get to one as expeditiously as possible
- Move furniture and cabinets in front of the entrance to ensure the violent offender is slowed to the point that forces them to move on
- Shut off all lights, close the blinds of all windows and glass openings if possible
- Silence your cell phone, and call 911
- Stay low behind the brick portion of the room, remain silent, and do not panic, console others, 99% chance you will need to do this because few are truly prepared…
